DESCRIPTION-  For this special event with such a warm, open bunch of lads I wanted to create a piece that felt in kind with this camaraderie and sentiment of giving.  Organic and warm, rooted, if you will.  The materials could be considered somewhat simple, there is nothing earth-shattering about a damascus clad nakiri.  However, once paired with the modern supersteel, ApexUltra, in the core cutting edge, and forged by hand for a thick comfortable pinch grip point and a precise and very fine taper, you have a tool that becomes a hard-working, trustworthy extension of the hand.  The handle choice for this vibe felt obvious to me as bog oak is truly as earthy as the earth itself.  Rooted, warm, and with care, this knife has been lovingly forged and put together to bring the same to the hand that guides it.
